Got my hands on a disc that also consists of 24p and 60p videos.
Couldn't find any issues with x265 or nvenc:

IMO 60fps in a movie looks phenomenal ... no idea why all the movies stick with 24fps ... whatever this soap opera effect is, that people complain about, I have no issues with that
