Maybe better to ask this in avs+ thread.
My best understanding:
AVS+ has VFW and native output
AVFS is using native output from AVS
VD is using VFW output from AVS
Meanwhile, it seems VapourSynth can output some compatible formats:
b64a = rgba 4*16-bit (confirmed long ago)
v210 = YUV 422*10-bit
P210 = YUV 422*10-bit
P216 = YUV 422*16-bit
