Not sure if you can tell, myself I set options to 9.whatever (dual layer disk output), so is never compressed (only ever do folder image).
If you buy a naff 2-in-one, (two titles on single DVD) then its gonna be naff(on occasion not naff, eg dual side - then obviously not DVD-Shrink, dual side, not a burned disk).
The only real way to tell is if you can do a MediaInfo pass on it, and if it says summick like "created by DVD-Shrink", BUT, I would be guessin' it aint gonna do that.

EDIT: I dont think you can tell, could be wrong of course. [try it yourself, anything in MediaInfo ?]

EDIT: You could also try doing DVD-shrink disk, & in MediaInfo, see if compressor stuff differs from original.
[do multiple extracts, & MediaInfo of same, and look for DIFFERENCES, and make what you will of those].
