Since switching to Windows 7 I never had luck encoding an mkv to DVD with avs2dvd.

Tried out the new version... still... no luck.


I always end up with choppy output.

Sometimes it's just at the beginning of the movie and smooth after 10 minutes.

Used HCEnc... forced QUenc...


The movies are always choppy.

Framerate of the mkv is 23.976.
This is the exact same problem I had (I use vista 32bit). The only way to fix it is to use ffmpegsource as the filter. We never got to the core of the problem.
