BD to DVD5 with Subtitles failure:
I just ran the "Death Wish" BD through BD-RB to a DVD5 with english audio and the english subtitles. It worked fine and the created dvd looks fine. So whatever problem is happening is not universal and is definitely restricted to certain titles.
