That said , I don't really want to get into 2-pass encoding (since a target filesize for each movie holds no interest to me) ...
but I would like to achieve a more efficient 1-pass Q19.
It might be a plan to get into a new cutting edge x264 app ... what's good to go!

I remember vaguely that one can do something similar in HDConvertToX, by putting in the .ini:
Allow CRF + 1 pass encoding=1.
