It looks better if your monitor is capable of doing 24~ fps.
71.928 or the fancy 144 monitors.
Or if it can even go as low as 47.952.
Would be nice if they figured out a way to take advantage of the AVC/MVC spec in bluray for TV's with higher refresh rate boards.
Alternate frames to get 2 different sets of image data depending which "eye" you look at.
Remuxing to PC would be easy peasy if you interleave the two differentiating data streams.
For 2D. 3D would go out the window.
Didn't Japan play with AVC/MVC for their super bit depth discs?
