I noticed this during playback when I switched from FSE into windowed by double clicking the player window field and the title would start to stutter. I created the ShowRenderSteps folder and noticed when windowed, many processes were present in madVR OSD. When I double clicked the player field and it goes back to FSE, those processes no longer showed and playback resources relaxed.

Your scenario is worrisome, but it would explain the issues. That's too bad. So something is wrong with madVR FSE mode in conjunction with newer cards.

I'm not about to test this. I still have my GTX 1070 and I'm considering sending my RTX 2080 to @madshi, lol - if it could help him out in looking into these things - if it's even a MadVR issue.

Thanks for your test btw.
