Post-processing is already possible. There is pixelshader functionality. Madvr provides several postprocessing filters, and in the future possibly also Avisynth/Vapoursynth support. Ffdshow video processor has several filters and Avisynth scripting support. You can even 'play' Avisynth scripts with MPC-HC if you want to.
