I'd use
--sar 43:11 which yields to 2.3888888888888888888888888888889 display aspect ratio. If you wanted to have 2.39:1 DAR precisely, the resulting SAR would be 2151:550 and I'm not sure if x264 (or H.264 specs) allow for such big numbers
The final error from 43:11 is negligible anyway, less than a pixel in horizontal resolution so no one cares about anyway.
