source title audio track should be DVD compliant (DTS @16bit) and AVStoDVD should have kept it without re-encoding. Instead Aften+Wavi started with 1536 kbps bitrate setting (wrong, not supported by AC3). Have you changed anything in 'Edit Title'/'Audio'?

Nope! Just left everything as is and hit start! Tried another MKV and it worked fine. Re-tested this one and it failed :-(
