Jmac, did you ever try using AVS2DVD (current release) and feeding it with a m2v file with the user data containing CC information?

I feel it should work!

I mean, if you make a suitable (off line) preparation of the m2v assets, by using the SCC tools, the closed caption information should be - in theory - kept unaltered by the AVS2DVD operations and by the underlying muxing engine (MuxMan). This should also take care of the VBV potential issues raised elsewhere.

Concerning the setting of the IFO flags, this operation should be also NOT NECESSARY, since the IFO files are produced directly by MuxMan, at the end of the muxing stage, in a way that makes these files consistent with the input assets. In other terms, if the m2v assets contains CC, MuxMan should detect this situation and should produce (together with the other files) also suitable IFO files.
