3D and HDR both work in Windowed mode. FSE is no fundamental requirement for basically anything anymore on Windows 10, since Independent Flip gives the application almost full control of whats being rendered.
Of course this is theoretical, that is not to say that madVR may need some more work to fully adapt to what is required to handle all this.
