I was reading that adding "AUDIO_DIRECTSHOW=0" prevents ffdshow's mixer from changing the number of channels during recoding.
I don't see it by default in my .INI file. Is that now hardcoded into BD RB or does it still need to be added?
Is there a drawback to using that option?

Edit: And a quick question, what bitrate will be used for a mono source? Is it treated the same as stereo?
