I strongly doubt that BluRay will be revised to include 1080p50/60 support. I see much more of a market for this in the AVCHD world (consumer generated content).

That doesn't mean that BluRay players won't be revised to support this new AVCHD 2.0 standard...

That would be my guess anyway
