Thanx ozok, that clarified a little, but also confused a little more on the other hand.
I never used that term 'SAR' and never cared what it means... till now. First of all i went to school again to learn something more about these things and I found this very helpful article on
Wikipedia. If I got that right, the SAR (Storage Aspect Ratio) is nothing more than the ratio resulting from the number of pixels. Apparently people here often confuse this with the PAR as in the linked post:

Very confusing, indeed.
Now back to the issue... the question should be: What part of the whole process is affected by the aspect ratio option?
