When you say easySUP has issues with a 24fps source, do you mean, or does that also include 23.976 fps? I think that's what the majority of my movies are.

Does goSUP work the same way as easySUP?

Thanks again for the info!
Hello!

For some reason when using easySUP for 24.000 fps source it doesn't work when muxing back into tsMuxer.
It still shows as 23.976 therefore the subtitle will be out of sync.
When using goSUP for 24.000 or 25.000 fps source tsMuxer works just fine.

Both tools work the same way, pretty intuative GUI.
The big difference is the subtitle size and marging settings.
Also some minor differences with the output, easySUP looks a little better graphical than goSUP.

Here are my settings I figured out by measuring (the size may vary) original subtitles on my 60 inch plasma.

I do it like this:
Demux subtitle from original source (if needed)
Edit in Subtitle Edit and save as srt (if needed)
Make sup with easySUP or goSUP
Add BD-title and sup in tsMuxer
Export to BD-folder
Use MakeMKV
Code:
For keeping the subtitles above bottom black bar (21:9)
In easySUP:
Format: BD SUP
Resolution: 1080
Frame rate: 23,976
Size: 78 (I try to keep the size of original source)
Color: here I choose mostly white 255,255,255 but sometimes other like grey 206,206,206
Style: Normal
Outline: 2 Color: 0,0,0
Background: None
Safe zone: 0%
Margin: 152
Shadow: 1
Alignment: default
Opacity: default

Same setting as above will look different in goSUP:
Font size: 50
Bottom offset: 100
Font color: same as easySUP
Outline color: 0,0,0
Opacity: default
Shadow: default
Align: default
Format: SUP/PGS
Reasolution: 1080p
Framerate: 24.000 or other fps

easySUP (16:9)
Same settings as in (21:9)
Margin: 70-78 depending on original subtitles

goSUP (16:9)
Same settings as in (21:9)
Bottom offset: 44-50 depending on original subtitles
Kind regards
