Well, the 720x576 picture, if that's what you're looking at, is
supposed to have 'bad' aspect ratio. Only after it gets resized at playback time does it look 'normal'.
And I don't think you want 25 rows of pixels above and below. 24 each would be better. Or 26/24. Don't use odd numbers.
