The AIDA64 FPU test approximately reflects the power that x264 draws (yes, I checked that with my i5-2500K
). Taking into account your more powerful CPU and extreme ambient temperature it's not hard to see how you reach 80 - 90 degrees Celsius.
If you want your CPU to last long you should go for water cooling, BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 3/4, Noctua NH-D15 or similar.
