I decided to use another frameserver so I bought a license for DGDecNV (didn't think about FRIM) and the problems were gone. As I don't have a NVIDIA Card on my main machine I wondered if I can also use DGDecIM there. I searched the whole thread, did find something about some hidden options like

DGDECIM_SW_DECODE

[PATH]
DGIndexIM=...DGIndexIM.exe
DGDecIM=...DGDecodeIM.dll

but they do not seem to work. Is DecIM (still) supported or shall I use FRIM Decoding in SW mode?

Thanks

It should still be supported -- but it's more-or-less undocumented. You'd need to add DGDECIM=1 to your INI as well.
