Yeah, I did notice that there were only two MKV output options, 1080p and 720p, but I sorta kinda thought it would use original resolution if that was lower than 720p and the "Convert SD to HD" was not enabled. Felt logical, you know? |
Nope. It resizes to the size you select. So it's doing what it is supposed to do.
The flags in the SETUP dialog would contradict the purpose of the ALTERNATE output... for example, if I paid attention to the resizing instructions I could end up eith iPod output that wouldn't play on an iPod.
