Is DVD Rebuilder still the best solution around?

It's been like ten years of using DVD Rebuilder and CCE2, since it doesn't support CCE3 and last version was updated like when? Six years ago? Does it even support multiple threads? Encoding today with it feels so outdated and slow...

Well anyway, I want to ask hardcore DVD fans (since DVD isn't that popular anymore since Blu-rays, but still a lot of titles comes out on DVD only) what is the best solution today to compress the DVDs to 4.37 DVDRs? is it still DVDRB with CCE2? Really outdated and hard to believe if it's best solution around.

So please share your thoughts what are the best current setups to get best quality encodes and use up CPU resources respectively?
