I have an MSI MegaSky (probably older than yours and it uses the NewSoft Presto!
PVR, Mine is BDA, I assume yours will be also. Hunt out ProgDVB free edition (I
think there is a mention on the Doom9 home page). Also may like to try the Freeware
DVBDream, it can be fiddly to set up but I like it and it is very light weight in CPU,
This also seems to have ceased development.
About GOM, it sometimes has problems with certain vids, I like GOM but it is not
perfect. Have a try of VLC Player, usually plays everything, even so I do tend to
like GOM better.

Thank you very much for answering me. I'll try what you've said. No problem with compiling Java source but there's compiled .jar inside the archive at this very site :-))
