I like to separate video and audio players (they have different requirements, e.g. playlist, etc).
On Android:
- agreed, MX Player is the best video player (although I don't watch proper video content on my mobile at all
)
- but for audio I use AIMP
On Windows:
- video: MPC-BE+LAVfilters+madvr (nothing beats it in simplicity and quality)
- audio: AIMP (previously I used Winamp)
