Yes, this is a known issue with current Nvidia drivers.

Try 382.53 or 385.28.

edit: It doesn't have to mess up HDR though, my LG OLED (C7) handles 8 bit HDR even better than 10 bit HDR (less banding, madVR's dithering is better than the TVs - or something).
