Try this - https://yadi.sk/d/BmlIoT0_3UDvos
It's create log file if drop and so. Testing without seeking - just open & playback some times.

Getting drops on Dolby Digital 5.1 bitsreaming too, not just lossless it seems.

tyrindor - new test build https://yadi.sk/d/T4RFgrPV3UEyrx

Test on AC3/TrueHD/DTS-HD. For me only drop on AC3/DTS-HD in 5-10m. The problem has not yet been clarified.

Weird no one else has reported this. I'll report back when I get a chance.

So far so good. One hour of TrueHD and one hour of Dolby Digital Plus with no drops.

If I could get a 64bit compile of that build it'd be appreciated and I can test further.

I thought I noticed some slight A/V issues at the end of a dolby digital plus episode, but it may have been the rip. I will have to test further for A/V issues.

This is the log after playing both files:

More testing, seeing some A/V issues sadly. Seems to get worse the longer something is played. Last thing I watched it started out fine, but about an hour in it was noticeably off.

Kinda starting to wonder if it's worth the headache, directsound bitstreaming works if I select my receiver instead.

Please add support for opus audio in mp4.
Internal mp4 splitter supports vp9 and ogg in mp4 but not opus audio.

Try this build - https://yadi.sk/d/CnPLkVxg3UMWj5
it's don't create log file. Just check for drops and A/V sync.

I'll test for a few days and get back to you, perhaps earlier if I see any issues.

Is there anyway to get smooth seeking? Without delays/buffering/lag. For example, like in premiere pro. I've tried the fastest algorithms in madvr and sw/hw decoding but it's never perfect.

It's not possible.

Premiere does it by reading the entire file start to finish and recording the seek points of each frame. That can take minutes before you can even start watching the movie, no one wants to put up with that just to get slightly faster seeking during a movie.
