MeGUI XViD Configuration (Quantizers)

the XViD profile updated by MeGUI puts I / P frames at 1

isnt 2 better ?

default MeGUI



will these settings produce better quality XViD conversion



any suggestions please?

Even if the bitrate, chigh and clow values matched , then at
best the output would be identical, in worst case (when targeting needlessly high bitrates) the one with I|P|B min 2
might not be able to use high enough bitrates in all parts but visually they'd be practically indistinguishable.

Thank You AnonCrow, much apprieciated.

Ive found some custom MeGUI X264 profiles but ive yet to find XviD custom profiles.
Is this mainly because Xvid is not like X264 in the sense X264 has so many advanced settings to configure.
would i see much difference in quality if i played around with xvid settings, i.e. quantizers rate controls, I / P / B frames?
for ripping and archiving movies on my harddrive, small xvid conversions (700-800mb)
