Have you tried uninstalling all components and then reinstalling everything? Sometimes other software that is installed will "intercept" CODECs, causing problems, and give no indication of doing so. Also, if you have any "codec packs" installed -- remove them. All the CODECs you will ever need are included in FFDSHOW.

Interesting that the section where it is failing is only 24 frames long... have you changed MIN_M2TS_SIZE?

[Edit] Look like you posted while I was answering... BD-RB should recognize a menu and for BD-25 in most cases it should not change it.

Not installed any other codecs besides Rebuilder ones.

I can select oo81 in vlc and it plays fine.

I have just rebooted the pc and I'll rerun RB to see if it stops again.

thanks for replying.

What did you use to rip it? An error in extracting subs is very rare -- and could indicate a corrupt source.

Something is installed wrong. Since it worked and then stopped again, I have to think that some other software on your system is changing the settings back...

It's just about a bare system, software wise. Just reinstalled a clean Windows. I don't understand the workings of RB or all the settings.

When I installed it about 6 months ago it worked straight out the box. Wonder if it is worth downgrading to an earlier version?

This is definately not the solution. you have a setup issue, Windows Admin. privilege issue, etc..
Where do you have BD-RB's install folder? Try putting it on the desktop or on C: directly.

RB is installed on a usb attached HD. It has always been there.

Everything else on the pc works fine, all dvd and mts files plays with no problem.

Try ripping the disc to harddrive with AnyDvd, and then use BD-RB from the HDD. It might resolve your problem, or it might discover some errors on the disc?

Just a thought!

I have tried ripping from the discs and ripping to HD first.

Same result.

I have ran RB from Desktop, c Drive and Ext HD, same result.

I am thinking of reinstalling Vista again.

Just for the heck of it, try uninstalling HAALI and then installing the previously recommended HAALI version.

I uninstalled Haali splitter and it made no difference to RB, I presume it shouldhave.

So could it be that Haali is the problem even when I had it installed?
