MJPEG METASOFT codec on Vista 64

Hi.
I use to use the free Metasoft MJPEG codec since 2002 because it is very simple, fast, and the quality is OK. (http://www.metasoft.pl/pl/compressors.html)
I installed Vista 64 on my workstation this year, and I have been looking for a way install this MJPEG codec on it, because the usual right click/install on the .inf file did not work, and I finally found how to install it on vista 64.

so I wanted to share this experience with you. Here is how:

The metasoft codec is composed of 2 files (MJPEG.dll, MJPEG.inf).

1. open a command prompt
2. go to the SysWOW64 folder (cd c:\Windows\SysWOW64)
3. type this command and replace [folder] with the path to the inf file:
rundll32.exe setupapi.dll,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 0 [FOLDER]\MJPEG.inf

That's all.

I hope it helps. regards
