Oh. The way you worded it I thought you were meaning individual files in the root directory (which I didn't test), and not files in a direct subdirectory of root. If that makes sense. :-)

That is what I meant. I checked it. Files that are not directly in the root are not included. Only individual files in the root are a problem -- but I'll test it again.

Are you positive you have BDMV_CERT_ONLY=1 set in the config file?

[Edit] Ok... I did the testing. It works correctly. Even the files in the root are ignored when BDMV_CERT_ONLY=1 is set. So I have to assume you are mistaken in your testing. Maybe you misspelled it in the config file...

Hello again

I'm having trouble with rebuilding Matrix Revolutions to BD25. The resulting disk is too large (25.670.975.488 Bytes) for a BD25.

What can I do here? I attached the log.
Attached Files
File Type: zip log.zip (4.1 KB, 31 views)

Try with this: in settings -> output options: select "custom target size"

Settings -> Setup: put this number: 24250 in the box next to this text "Custom Target Size" and click in" save changes."

That's going to make it bigger... according to his post it is already too big.

I'll run a test on it and see how it sizes for me.

The default setting is 23500. Start from there and go down.

At the moment I do 23400. One thing I noticed is, that BD-RB doesn't reencode the main movie; only the other ones. Which is of course great, because no quality is lost. And also I have to say this is the first disk where I'm experiencing size problems.

Edit: Now with 23400 MB it encodes the main movie, so now I think it will be ok in size. But I noticed, that an audio track called "(2nd) AC3 Plus, Stereo, English" can be deactivated Why can't I deactivate that track, so it could fit the disk??

This is the secondary audio track for the PiP extra on the disc. It will not take up much space.
If you want more precise sizing, set BD-RB to two pass mode.

BD-RB will recognize that it has changed and reset it back to include that track when you start it again.

OK, I just converted to 23400 MB and now it fits onto the disk (with encoding the main movie). What did your tests show, jdobbs? Can you guess, where the problem is?

I've got a lot going on... it'll probably be a couple days before I test it.

Converting Little Fockers to movie only DVD-5. I tried both the full source and the movie only BD25. Both times it showed "WARNING: Failed to integrate DVD subtitle" in the log. The weird thing is that the subtitles are working in the DVD5. The movie only BD25 worked fine.

EDIT:
Just some info:
If I set MIN_M2TS_SIZE=250, this VID_00132 is removed from the to be encoded list. This is a multi-m2ts movie, with three playlists. This VID_00132 is part of only one playlist. If I check the contents of this playlist with BDInfo, it shows 2 MPEG-4, AVC, 1080P clips for the several .m2ts files of this playlist. It is the same as VID_00131, but with this additional footage of how the scene was made. There are several of these double 1080P video within one m2ts file for this movie, it's just VID_00132 came up first in the to be reencoded list, causing the failure.
To which playlists are you referring? I just brought this disc up in BD-Edit, and I can't find a playlist that references 00132.M2TS...

My Die Another Day has 3 playlists. BDInfo shows 00001.mpls and 00002.mpls are identical, and 00099.mpls is the one that has 00132.m2ts(1).
Playlist 00099.mpls shows 02:12:34, just as the other two playlists. However, the order for .m2ts files is: 00130.m2ts, 00131.m2ts, 00132.m2ts(1). Same for 00135.m2ts(1), 00138.m2ts(1), 00141.m2ts(1), etc...
I have never seen this parantheses(1) before after the .m2ts.
It also shows 2 - 1080P/ 23.976fps / 16:9 / High Profile 4.1. The second one listed just below the first has : MPEG-4 AVC Video (1). Again this parantheses(1)!

EDIT:
I did not use BD-Edit, but BDInfo v.0.5.6
Does your disc have a 00132.m2ts file?
When 00132.m2ts is played, which is 47 seconds long, it starts as a fight with Bond fighting a guy on the hovercraft, but after 4 seconds, the fight seen is transitioned to a PiP in the left corner of the screen, and the "about the scene" director is now the full screen picture, and he begins discussing the making of.
