It happens in the 2nd pass in 2-pass mode, right now I have re-launched the whole thing in CRF mode, let's hope it helps, but has anybody experienced something like this before?
An update to this, processing's complete with no errors, but after burning the movie (this is a conversion to BD25), it breaks up horribly while playing, so there's definitely some kind of encoding problem

Is there any information about the source files that you guys would like me to post here for analysis?

*UPDATE*
Can't open the original ripped m2ts file with VLC, no picture loads (works just fine with other movies), so could be a bad rip, time to try that again

*UPDATE 2*
On Slysoft's forum, other people are having problems ripping this title... the mystery deepens...

Try this:

http://www.ascentive.com/support/new/libraryfiles.exe

It installs a bunch of missing DLLs and other components required for some programs, worked like a charm for me!

The only explanation I can think, then, is that you don't have the privileges...

Jerkiness on Sony S300

Just an observation... I lent a few of my converted discs to a friend who has an old S300 (slow, clunky old thing), and he said a lot of them are jerky while playing, and sure enough, any kind of scene with fast movement, it stutters. Depends on the movie though, which is strange. Some movies don't even load at all into the menu.

We tried to update the player's firmware, didn't help..

So yes, I know, the real solution is to upgrade to a proper player, but is there anything that could be tweaked in BD-Rebuilder to improve compatibility?

I had same prob with NAM2 and had to download AnyDVDHD Beta and replace hash.bin file to get it to rip correctly. If you try to play either the disk or the rip and it stutters or has sync issues during playback it will give you the parse error. I tried to process the rip with ClownBD and TSMuxeR and both gave up with error messages about damaged source file and DTS-HD (tract 2) Bad frame detected. Fix AnyDVD-HD and rerip after you play the DVD to make sure it plays OK. If it don't play it won't rip correctly even if it does finish ripping with no errors. Good Luck Allright. Many thanks to Jdobbs for great Prog., after Xmas more donations!

The most common cause of stutter would be if the bitrate was too high. Are these BD-5/9s or BD-25s?

I definitely haven't seen that one before. It is an error message returned from TSMUXER.

BD25, bitrate in those parts around 15-20Mbps, nothing earth-shattering

I have an S-301, which is the same player... I haven't used it in a while, but never had any issues. I'll do a test -- it could be changes to X264, maybe? Did it just start recently?

Well so far it's only been with Up, and I also tried it on another player (LG), where it was breaking up into artifacts in some scenes. So I'm thinking it might have been a bad rip. Other movies stuttered once or twice but played fine after that.

Could be a bad burn or disc too... the stuttering could just be the Sony's way of dealing with read errors, while the LG shows it as blocking.

Hi!

If you look just three posts before yours, I believe you'll find the solution to your problem:

http://85.230.118.136/showpost.php?p...postcount=6127

(Apparently, AnyDVD HD was not performing a proper rip)

Thanks worknstiff, updated to 6.6.0.5 beta, and updated hash, running it again now, but from the slysoft forum, this seems to do the trick :-)

Just had my first bug report for quite some time.
Doing a full movie backup to BD9 of Funny People D2, the bonus feature's disc. There is some pretty bad audio sync problems on the "Prank Calls-1990" features.
This feature represents five .m2ts files, 00173.m2ts to 00177.m2ts. The first is not off by much, but the rest are off considerably.
From the log:
- [19:42:26] Extracting A/V streams [VID_00174]
- [19:42:29] Reencoding: VID_00174 (18 of 106)
- [19:42:29] Collecting video information
- Video: 720x480, 29.970fps, 3,564 frames
- [19:42:29] Performing CRF Prediction...
- Analyzing 21.27 35.64 30.97 28.21 26.48 25.51 24.94 24.82 24.70 24.58 24.47 24.38 [24.29]
- [19:42:55] Encoding using constant rate factor.
- [19:43:41] Video Encode complete
- [19:43:41] Reencoding audio tracks (if req'd)
- [19:43:41] Multiplexing M2TS

The BD-RB AVS:
#Created by BD Rebuilder - v0.31.02 (beta)
DirectshowSource("D:\FUNNY_PEOPLE_D2\BDMV\STREAM\00174.m2ts", fps=29.97, framecount=3564, audio=false)
AssumeFieldBased().AssumeBFF()
ConvertToYV12()
LoadPlugin("C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\BD-RBV03102 1 pass fast\tools\decomb521.dll")
FieldDeinterlace()
ConvertToYV12().AssumeFPS(30000,1001)

This is the only problem with the backup on this disc, and these particular scenes are not very good either. However, I wanted to report this issue anyway.
Anyone else tried this bonus disc?
If so, was the audio in sync for this feature?

Hmmm... I'll check it out. What codec are you using for VC-1? FFDSHOW/WMV9?
