Odd that it works that way. I wonder who was involved in writing the forum software and decided that was a good idea?

I doubt that it was a conscious decision.

You can tell because the choices are check boxes instead of radio buttons.

Yeah, I guess. However, I have used checkboxes for radio button functionality in some programs because they look better (in my opinion). You just have to add the logic.

Ahhhh... it hadn't occurred to me to look at it from that perspective.

Usually, only people familiar with Microsoft's developer guidelines for GUI design would know or notice.

BTW, this is an example where the programmer was not familiar with those guidelines (and/or smoked too much weed while programming):

Hi there, I discovered Avisynth+ Neo with this poll and I'm wondering how much it's improved compared to normal r2772 version. I know it's CUDA compatible, but except that, it doesn't seem to be different in term of performance.

I would not say "Improved Compared to normal r2772", just different. It does have some additional bells and whistles that r2772 does not yet have,
but then again r2772 has some bells and whistles that Neo does not yet have.
Neo though does seem to have a few problems,

Seems to be a pretty serious bug in avisynth NEO, Main avs level local variables not visible inside Scriptclip.
Works fine even in Avs v2.58, Fails in AVS NEO < "I dont know what S Means. ([Scriptclip] Line 1)" >
Code:
S="HELLO"
BlankClip.ScriptClip("""Subtitle(S)""")
Neo is supposed to handle special variable current_frame better where MT is used, but above problem maybe related to the supposed Neo fix for MT current_frame.
Above problem is likely to break an awful lot of main level scripts [ones not relying much on script functions, mainly in-line scripting, eg Video Fred's recovery script].

Think I discoved a couple of additional bugs in Neo within about an hours use of it.

EDIT: Hmmm, avs+ 64 bit seems to be gettin' seriously popular.
I just spent a day or two playing with v2.58, easy to forget just how limited and uncomfortable it was.

Dunno. I remember that it mentioned the expiry date when I created the poll but I forgot.

Cant remember what the options were to create poll, and dont seem to be able to view options without actually creating one.
Think may have been something like 7, 14 or 30 days, and maybe no termination date, dont really know.
In last poll I submitted, I wrote
Quote:
EDIT: Poll will auto close after 14 days.
Dont seem to be any hint if you Go Advanced in OP, but when closed, shows below the poll, eg "Voters: 87. This poll is closed".
