Thanks jdobbs, I must have forgotten that option. This is activated using alternate output to MKV right?

Yes it is. Remember, only forced subtitles are hard encoded, so make sure your force them on.

Make sure you force it on just before encoding. The setting is not persistent, and other changes or closing/opening BD-RB can reset it.

I've noticed some problems with it. Like Lathe, if I don't post for a bit or don't login to read some then notifications stop. I usually keep a Firefox Tab for when it's running or Saved when exited which reloads to where I left it.
But that won't always cause new replies to send a notification.

I'm trying to do Star Wars A New Hope, HEVC, 1920x1080, Auto-AAC, movie only. It states Failed video encode, aborted. I works just fine on x264 encode.

Here's the output from Inspect.
[07/28/17] Checking System Settings
- BD-Rebuilder v0.50.24
- Windows Version: 6.1 [7601]
- Working Path Free Space: 316.44GB
- AVISYNTH Version: 2.6.0.6, Ok
- LAVFILTERS: Ok
- AnyDVD settings check: Ok.
- X264: Ok
- AFTEN: Ok
- FAAC: Ok
- MP4BOX: Ok
- WAVI: Ok
- TSMUXER: Ok
- FRIMEncode: Ok
- FRIMDecode: Ok
[07/28/17] Systems Settings Check complete

In workfiles there's a batch file called X265, I assume this is the command thats failing. I have 300 Gig free disk space.

"C:\BD_Rebuilder50.24\tools\avs2yuv.exe" "C:\DVDRIP\A_NEW_HOPE\BDMV\STREAM\00300.m2ts" -o - | "C:\BD_Rebuilder50.24\tools\x265-64.exe" - --preset medium --slow-firstpass --qpfile "C:\T1\WORKFILES\VID_00300.CHP" --keyint 240 --crf 23 --y4m --stats "C:\T1\WORKFILES\00300.m2ts.hevc.stats" --output "C:\T1\WORKFILES\00300.m2ts.hevc"

When I paste this in a shell window I get the following.

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601]
Copyright (c) 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\Users\ampl>"C:\BD_Rebuilder50.24\tools\avs2yuv.exe" "C:\DVDRIP\A_NEW_HOPE\BDM

crf 23 --y4m --stats "C:\T1\WORKFILES\00300.m2ts.hevc.stats" --output "C:\T1\WOR
KFILES\00300.m2ts.hevc"
infile "C:\DVDRIP\A_NEW_HOPE\BDMV\STREAM\00300.m2ts" doesn't look like an avisyn
th script
error: unexpected character "◄"
x265 [error]: unable to open input file <->

C:\Users\ampl>

What else can I give you to help debug this.

Thanks.

Weird. There should be an AVS file that is used for input. Can I see the log?

No. It's what shows in the window while the job is running. It is also saved in the file BD-REBUILDER.LOG in the working folder. It's a simple text file that can be opened with NOTEPAD.
