BassAudio sometimes was casing problems (AVS2AVI was hanging) . For some unknown reason I had also problems with FLAC files in Windows 7. AVS2AVI was hanging again. However I had no problems on Vista. I discovered that this was all cased by BassAudio decoder. For FLAC files I decided to use madFLAC decoder and for mp2 nicAudio and now everything works well.

To use the two-pass mode and keep the same file size, you can: 1) Use MediaInfo to determine the bitrate of your existing movie and specify that for the 2-pass bitrate. MediaRate would likely report your bitrate in MBps, so multiply that by ~1000 for your bitrate. 2) (Easier) Use the Lock Size feature and put in the original video file size (12GB=~12000MB). It will automatically set your 2-pass bitrate for you. |

I've experiencing on Win 7 some crashed of avs2avi.exe many times with many version of ripbot264. I've made some test. I found a trouble with avs2avi.exe. In Windows 7; Find avs2avi.exe in Window Explorer; Click "Properties"; In Tab "Compatibility"; Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"Choose "Windows XP, Service Pack 3" Apply; OK. It's resolving my avs2avi.exe crashed when import movies file and during some conversion. I test it with Windows 7 x86 and x64 version. Hope could this procedure resolve his trouble? He can try it, it's cost nothing. 8ternity

Hi Atak,
I Know i asked this question last year and couples of peoples seen that their asking if it is possible but im asking it again. I've seen the windows "blu-Ray Single file" open and offer the availability to import x: ALL SUBTITLES... My question is, did you know if you will can offer in the future the possiblity of having two languages for AVCHD contents? Thank You,

1 question, is it possible to add subtitles to a .mts file?
I'm playing around with some movies I own, when I rip them to avcHD, it makes a folder ( I assume all the contents are in there), I normally just take out the .mts file and stream that to my PS3 but some movies are all in English but have certain moments where another language is involved. Has anyone found a solution besides burning the full movie subtitles onto the picture of the .mts file? |
