MKVToMP4 Issue on Windows 7

Does anyone else here use this? It can take an MKV file and repack it to make it compatible with devices such as a PS3 console for playback.

I use this all the time and it works flawlessly on my Windows XP machine, but on Windows 7 it crashes when utilizing a console-based application called GSConv.exe (which I believe handles the conversion of subtitles) and the entire app errors out until I click the application then it resumes repacking the files, but no subtitles will be present.

Is this a known application issue that will not run properly on a Windows 7 box?
