Does it still annoyingly display time elapsed and total time, but not the far more useful time remaining?
My big wish is for a borderless mode - that would be so useful when viewing 1920x1080 material on a 1920x>1080 monitor. Sadly last time I checked I couldn't get it to compile with VC++ Express 2010. David |

Manufactures should understant that to play 1920x1080 comfortably, a bigger res is needed lets say 2000x1200 |

Yes, but not sure why that matters...

My gripe with VirtualDub is that, on a 1920x1080 screen, you can maximise the window but still won't see all 1920 horizontal pixels because of the frames around the video previews. |

Monitor is not a TV set, and to give a res of 1920x1080 because vids are 1920x1080 is just silly And if not manufacturer's, who then ?? |

on Win8.1 x64 can't get any capture preview
tried two capture cards, blank preview window, either version 1.9.11/ 1.10.4. In other softwares MPC-HC, OBS - no problemo, all works as usual.
In Vdub always used to work fine on Win7/8, But now after update to 8.1 blank preview. Sometimes I see graph constructed in 'remote filter graph' view in graphedit, but in Vdub window its empty. Tried 7/8 compatibility mode too, and to run as admin - still no joy. Where do I complain so developers hear me sooner? P.S so capture/recording still works (blind, no preview) the only trick I found to enable preview is to check Video -> Histogram... option but this is silly, I never had to do this on old OS' i posted the same in the "unofficial vdub support forums" Last edited by Vincent Vega; 8th December 2013 at 04:30. |

VirtualDub 1.10.4 is out
Absolutely, out and gone. New king is VirtualDub2:- https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=172021 Perhaps both VirtualDub and VirtualDubMod sticky threads should be consigned to an Old_&_Defunct_Threads repository. [Except the VirtualDub FAQ and VirtualDub Compiling threads] [And perhaps excluding the VirtualDub External Encoder Tutorials thread]
