How to enhance old video quality

Hi all,

VirtualDub2 on Windows 10

VirtualDub2 is completely new to me. Please advise how to use it to improve the quality of old video?

Tutorial would be appreciated.

I found following YouTube video;
How to Use VirtualDub for Windows
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xWVgbSvfEM

Its VirtualDub looking different to my running VirtualDub2

Thanks in advance.

Regards

I don't know much about virtualdub2 but I'm sure you can improve video quality in software like Davinci Resolve17, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro or you can accomplish that in online video editors like here. I have tried Fastreel several months ago when I was editing my mom's video she filmed on her old Samsung phone. She told me the video was too dark so I had to edit the lights a little and it was done.

Use its filters:
Video->Filters...->Add...
Select the appropriate filters depending on what you want to achieve.
