@ggtop

2.3.2 Final will contain only bugfixes of this Alpha. Next release will have thumb avs script editing. Don't give up hope.

@Yobbo

you're welcome!

I'm assuming this indicates a compatibility or encoder issue with HCEnc. Has Hank commented on it and will he be releasing a new beta?

Thanks

Just noticed hank released the final 024 yesterday. Can you put that in your alpha 232 for testing or final 232?

Thanks

You can easily copy the 0.24 final release in \AVStoDVD\HCenc folder. Just delete current HCenc.exe and rename HCenc_024.exe to HCenc.exe. That's all.

MrC,

Thanks quite aware and I already have..was just curious if you or a tester determined the reson for the lock-up near end of encoding (I never had those symptoms) and if it was a encoder issue, did Hank correct it. if it was not a encoder issue, what with the April release fixes it?

Thanks again for your tool

AFAIK that issue happened only on my old Athlon 1800+ with august beta (april beta was ok, so, for safety, I went back). I did inform hank about that issue and... 0.24 Final does not hang anymore. Surely AVStoDVD 2.3.2 final will include HCenc 0.24 final.

Could you please have a look at latest 2.3.2 Alpha and report back if there are still errors? If yes, could you please elaborate (as Mr. Monte has already pointed out)?

Thanks in advance

No probs m8
i'm doing a enc of ironman 2 now and will return with feedback..
cheers

1. couldn't with your app find and extract subs ...( error during mkvextract cycle ..ok in previous release)
have to use mkvextract as stand alone and then your app found the subs without you selecting add subs option.
2. Avisynth couldn't frameserve the in-putted mkv-file..

@harnarn

there's a decimal separator bug (see AddBorders(0,112,1972,0,112,1972) command) to be solved with 2.3.2 final.

Workaround: select "." as decimal separator in International Settings instead of ","

Please post the complete log file, including the audio and authoring sections.

About subs, let me make some research because from 2.3.1 to 2.3.2 there are no changes in subtitles detection and choose routine.

Thanks for the reports

Bye

Log file created by AVStoDVD Release 2.3.2 Alpha build 100913
<>

All worked well ...one minor glitch subs was totally out of sync ( maybe no speed up to PAL was preformed)
And like i wrote yesterday the audio and subs was added by the manual option and pre demuxed...
Cheers
