Why did x264 binaries become so large?
I needed to download x264 for game encoding, so I went to the following page to get the binary:
https://download.videolan.org/pub/x264/binaries/win32/ I noticed that before 2017 the size of the binary was small, around 3 or 4 MB, but since 2017 the size become larger, around 19 to 20 MB. Why did x264 binary become so large? |

I think because it includes a large collection of splitters and decoders.
