Streaming BD to PS3
Hello. So I have a situation I have been trying to find a solution for. What I would like to accomplish is to use my PS3 to play BD .ISO streamed from my computer, ideally as if it were playing in the PS3's BD drive (but navigating to and playing the main movie file is good enough).
I have tried using PS3 Media Server, which can see, and share, the virtual drive on my PC. When I open it up on the PS3 it navigates as though I am browsing the disc on my PC, no big deal, but when I go into the BDMV > STREAM folder and select the movie file, it says that the data is corrupt. It also does this when I select a .m2ts from the HDD. I tried to rename the file to movie.m2t, which I read can work (though admittedly I was just skimming quickly over the page), but that produces audio with no video. Is there any way to accomplish this? Thank you |
