Check changes.txt in the BDRB folder for all the changes. If you want it to run with 1 pass again go to settings > encoder settings > and at the bottom select One Pass (CRF) Encoding or One Pass (VBR) Encoding

If you have PowerDVD, and could use IMGBurn to create an image of your backup, then load that image with Virtual clone or Daemon and play it with PowerDVD you will find there is no problem.
Better yet, if you could burn it to disc and play it on a standalone, you will also find no audio issues.
Hmm. Checked again. There is a secondary video and a secondary audio. The secondary audio I can't uncheck. Didn't saw this one because of the long list of audio tracks (a resizable window would be really nice).

Some point is interesting: After reading the orininal disc, the secondary audio gets identified by BDRB as:

AC3 Plus, Stereo, English

When I read the new iso into BDRB, it gets identified as:

DTS-Express, Stereo, English

Look at my settings. I used all options to get completely untouched sound. So there shouldn't be a change this way.

In PowerDVD it really runs without that crackling, but the original disk rund in TMT without that issue. So I think there is something that has to be done in BDRB (I hope). TMT3 is the first choise for playing movies on my driveless HTPC with W7 MediaCenter and original moviedatabase since PowerDVD don't plays folders anymore.

As I did set up BDRB to leave sound as it is, only video stuff should get in touch with ffdshow. So I think the possibility is very low, that the issue is caused by this more actual version.

I have experienced these same audio playback issues when testing full backups to BD25 that have PiP when using TMT3. PowerDVD works fine though!
I always get perfect playback when using my standalone Sony S360.
I can't disagree that the originals do play correctly with TMT3, where BD-RB backups experience this audio track mixing/distortion.
But PowerDVD does play both correctly!
Software players are not the best test for this. This may not be in your best interest, especially if you only use PC based playback. And yes, PowerDVD does not play back from folders, where TMT3 does.
But there can be no denying that when the BD-RB backup is burned to BD-R/RE media and played back on a standalone player, it works just as the original one does.

None of the encodes I have done play back alright in TMT3. Everyone has artifacting but on my standalone it works perfect. So I can say i dont trust TMT3 or any software players to see if a backup works properly or not. Just my findings

I processed the film I Robot, and gave me an error of failure. You can review the data to see if they find something. Maybe is for FFDSHOW VC-1 set incorrectly: [0]
Thanks

If you use the right software it works all the time. If you use the wrong software, there's no telling what could or could not happen or when it might or might not happen.

No. They don't all use the same codec. There are numerous codecs in use for video and audio -- and they all have to be decoded from their original state (frameserving) in order to be reencoded. HAALI is part of the splitting/decoding process.

The solution is simple. Don't try to outsmart the system, use the right software, and it will work every time. My biggest support headache is folks who decide they know better than everybody else and "upgrade". If you look back through this thread you'll see at least 500 posts where the "bug" an incorrect software version.

Uninstall your current version of haali. Then go the the Programs folder and delete the folder Haali. Reboot.
Now install the recommended version from the first post of this thread.
