Virtualdub2 Error - Broken AVI
Hello!
I'm so sorry if this isn't posted in the right place! I recently built a new PC, and I'm in the process of encoding footage in Virtualdub2 (mkv's and mp4's to avi). When I export to avi from both Virtualdub 1 and 2, the files are broken. I've tried a lot of different codecs and get the same message. I even tried exporting without a codec. I'm thinking this may be a bigger issue outside of Virtualdub, but I am not sure and have no idea where to start. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! |

Your generated .avi should be OpenDML .avi
On VD2 export use F7 -> file type dropdown Audio-Video Interleave (*.avi) Do not use "File->Export->Save old format.avi" or "->Save segmented .avi" VD2 version, bitness, please. "Broken" report please, who reports (if player, which player jumps on .avi on your system) Please post mediainfo of encode, mediainfo of source. If .avs script: script, please. Pull the resulting .avi on graphstudionext32, screenshot, post the screenshot. Pull the resulting .avi on graphstudionext64, screenshot, post the screenshot.
