First and foremost, I want to thank you from making this program. It's exactly what I had been searching for!

Sorry if this has been asked before, I just don't have the time to read through 429 pages!

Is there any plan to add support for ffdshow 64-bit? Currently, I need to install both the 32 and 64 bit versions. It'd be nice not to need the 32-bit version.
Take a look here > http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.ph...84#post1393884

Ok, I did not understand.

But if I'm not mistaken, for while the RipBot only supports 32-bit version of ffdshow.

Try a previous version of x264, see if the artifacts are still there.
I will check out your sample when I get home.

Update: The artifacts appears even when I open the original source file when I open it in MPC-HC, it seems that the problem lies with how ffdshowmt decode the file.
The earlier version of RipBot works fine as it index the file with DGAVCIndex before encoding.
Things changed since v1.13.0.
Code:
v1.13.0
Added: support for x264 64bit (up to 10% faster encoding)
Added: if COPY STREAM is not selected assumeFPS will also adjust audio speed (easy 25 -> 23.976 conversion)
Added: custom resize profile with locked aspect ratio
Added: always first VST_01_x.vob will be indexed instead of VIDEO_TS.VOB
Added: language combobox for audio stream
Added: support for .sup subtitles (Warning!!! Original 1080p .sup WILL NOT be visible in 720p!!!)
Added: support for .ass .ssa subtitles in mkv container
Added: chapter extraction from .mp4
Added: UAC manifest (from now on you don't have to disable UAC)
Added: FFDshow DV decoder will be automatically enabled if necessary
Added: BD-25 size
Changed: Audio delay for convenient moved to Properties
Changed: .ts and .m2t files will be decoded via DirectShowSource instead of DGIndex or DGAVCdec (Reason: Faster decoding with FFDshow MT)
Changed: Audio from .ts and .m2t files will be demuxed in one pass
Changed: A/V same length combobox removed. CUT function is now always on (Audio and Video will always have the same lenght)
Changed: 'Tahoma' font to 'Consolas' (Installed by default in Windows Vista and 7)
Fixed: Bug which always resets VC-1 decoder to libavcodec. Default decoder is now wmv9 (Reason: Supports interlaced material)
Fixed: error 'Couldn't import DownMix2Stereo.avs'
Fixed: jobs.ini will be created immediately after creating new job
Update: x264 r1092M , eac3to v3.06 , Oggenc 2.85 aoTuVb5.61 , MediaInfo v0.7.10

I am have tried to make a .mkv from a BD, Batman The Dark Knight. It contains a Dolby TrueHD track. I tried to make a .mkv that can play on my Xtreamer.

In the latest Ripbot246 version after demuxing the videostream it only shows up 5.1 PCM that can be converted to AC3 or AAC, but I cannot choose direct stream copy. Why? Am I doing something wrong? Is there limitations to the mkv container that it cannot contain Dolby TrueHD.

Otherwise it works fine, and I really like this software Atak has made!

I encoded 3 short videos and all results are just black. No audio or video playing.
The profile used was [BASE 3.0] iPOD . iPhone . Zune
Is it just me who is having this problem?

EDIT: Testing another profile.

Yup, its gotta be the profile. Tested with PSP profile and all is working well.

EDIT1: Profile is exactly the same as it was in the old build. Maybe something has changed in the new x264 build?

EDIT2: The new Simple Mobile Device profile is doing exactly the same thing. No video or audio (black).

EDIT3:
Encode info using iPod & Simple Mobile Device profiles:
Frame rate mode: Constant
Frame rate: 25.000 fps
Original frame rate: 50.000 fps

Encode info using PSP, BluRay & AppleTV profiles:
Frame rate mode: Constant
Frame rate: 25.000 fps

All encodes were done with the same source file.

Did some re-encoding with a .mkv video file using both of the profiles mentioned, no problems encountered.

Upload a sample of the video file so that Atak and the others can help you with it.

I have a couple questions for those that use the crop feature. Are you using Autocrop? Is there any changes to the video (resolution, wide hips, tall skinny people) besides losing the black bars?

Thanks

@Atak;

Error to Report:

Subtitles get a strange import; when it try to add a subtitle, it add an "_" caracter at the end of the name. If i rename it, it add another "_" at the end and get crashed ripbot264 and can't get out of the subtitles import box. I need to force close. but the error is in the import command.

***edit***IF it's demuxed with 1.16.3; 1.16.2 can't add it too... i test it with 1.16.2 right now and it works if it was demuxed by version 1.16.2. It happen sometimes in the old version, i just need to delete the job and re-create and it's corrected. But the version 1.16.3, it happen strongly!

No problems for me.

Anyway RipBot is stuck at gathering information when opening a video with MP42 codec.

Mediainfo of file.
Code:
Video

@8ternity
Try this:
1) Remove all jobs in queue
2) close ripbot264
3) open again ripbot264
4) open .mkv , select AVCHD , select resolution and then add subtitles

I tried to read this thread but don't follow:

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=152030

The Batman Dark Knight contains a Dolby TrueHD that is either demuxed as a .flac file or .w64, depending on wheter you cecked the Flac option or not . If not checked I get the option to use AC3 5.1 640 kbit/s. So ripbot264 uncompress the TrueHd track to a multichannel PCM (.w64?) which is a lossless lossless step, and then encoded to lossy 5.1 AC3. Correct?

What is that talk about AC3 core and DTS core?
Can someone explain?

Thanks,
