madVR – Increase CPU Queue Size Past 128

Is there a way to increase this to 256 or 512?

I find my cpu queue size diminish down to 0 during certain scenes, for example avengers infinity war, the scene on titan where thanos is fighting iron man, then leads to dr strange giving the green stone.

The cpu queue size drops but picks right back up when there bright colors in the scene.

I figured i just need to buy a little more time for the cpu queue size to gain again once dark scene over. I'm about 8-10 seconds shy of playing the entire scene with no issues.

Anyway any help would be appreciated.

This is way too unspecific. It's absolutely not clear what you are talking about.

So, please clarify which specific software/product you are referring to – and edit your title accordingly!

I guess tcipps is talking about madVR.

Assuming you are talking about madVR, I don't think queue size above 128 will help you because the larger the queue size the more memory madVR will consume and one should never need a queue size so large.

You should give a screenshot of your OSD (Ctrl+J) and your hardware specs.

Ya sorry I am talking about madvr, like i said before the queue size just slowly dimishes during certain scenes (i find darker scenes) then comes right back during bright scenes. I am very happy with my current settings and would really like to not have to change anything.

Post a screenshot of your OSD in that problematic scene as I said.
Also your OS info / madVR version / player info / hardware info...
If you don't others can't know what's wrong and therefore can't help you.
