Hey there,

Since the Toolbars from MPC-HC.org are gone and with no way to download them, i looked if i got them BackedUP and i did
So, if anyone searches for those Toolbars here they are:

Toolbars.MPC-HC.SiteRIP (Updated.Jan.2020)
https://filehorst.de/d/dIywADJq

All in Original Name and Fileformat.
I hope its ok to post it here, seems reasonable

Best Regards, BeTa

I apologize in advance if this has already been asked in the past, but I would like to know how exactly AUDIO SWITCHER works in MPC-HC and what exactly is used

@clsid

Do you or anyone know why the millisecond position of a file is 500ms off from the time code display?

For example, the display updates to 00:00:03 when the actual millisecond position reaches only 2500 (rather than 3000).

I am doing some third party synchronization with playback through the web api and noticed this and was just wondering why this is.

00:00:03 = HH:MM:SS ?
500ms = 0,5s, 2500ms = 2,5s => rounded = 3s

But why would they round up like that?

Code:
0000ms = 00:00:00
0499ms = 00:00:00
0500ms = 00:00:01
0999ms = 00:00:01
1000ms = 00:00:01
1499ms = 00:00:01
1500ms = 00:00:02
1999ms = 00:00:02
2000ms = 00:00:02
Why not round down / truncate?

Code:
0000ms = 00:00:00
0499ms = 00:00:00
0500ms = 00:00:00
0999ms = 00:00:00
1000ms = 00:00:01
1499ms = 00:00:01
1500ms = 00:00:01
1999ms = 00:00:01
2000ms = 00:00:02
I guess the answer could simply be they wanted to round the display to a second number that's closer to the real position.

To display time with millisecond precision:
Right-click on time > high precision

Thanks for the quick fix.

I know, no feature requests, but I got a small one (?)
Would be nice to be able to have a playlist with a list of plaintext youtube URLs (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxx) that MPC-HC could parse. Right now, it does not call youtube-dl so these URLs are always marked invalid. They can be loaded by using Ctrl-O and pasting an URL, but playlists don't seem to call youtube-dl at all.

Added support for shaders, rotation, and statistics overlay for MPC Video Renderer
That is one of the features i was missing THANK YOU!!

But, Shaders do not work for me. Do i have to do something in order to make it work with MPC Video Renderer?
Tested Lumasharpen, contour, invert, etc.., but nothing changed the Picture...

Might be i m doing something wrong.. does it have to be PRE or POST shaders?

Best Regards

MPCVR only supports post-resize shaders.

It currently also only works in D3D9 mode. Support for shaders with D3D11 rendering will probably be added in next version.
