DVD backup problem?
Hi again everyone, lately I've been having a problem backing up my DVDs, all of the ripping programs I was using is now outdated (this includes AnyDVD and DVDdecrypter) I tried a new program called BDlot and it works when creating an ISO file but then I can't extract the files or cut out previews and other things I don't want. Can some one help me find a new program?

Well I could not rip the DVD with AnyDVD installed, and the call to BDlot authors will cost me a small fortune since its an international call and the e-mail is still unanswered. every program I've tried could not rip the newer DVDs in my collection.

I never met yet the DVD that I couldn't rip with two old tools, like DVDdecrypter, but I don't care about the menus.

Yes I can use the ISO but everything except for the movie and menus are "scrambled" and I can't skip the scrambled bits, also I usually cut out stuff I don't want with VOBblanker and then shrink it with DVDshrink but with the ISO the way it is I can't do that.

From the following link at the DVDFab website:

It sounds like you should be able to make a full disc backup and/or a movie-only backup in a NORMAL amount of time. |

When the movie is playing, you can see what title number is being played (usually via a button on the remote control). That title number is the one you then select in your copying program. |

@setarip_old I'm not rejecting suggestions, I've already tried them. As for the amount of time - I was referring to the time it would take to preview movie titles in order to find the right one.
@mike20021969 thanks, I got the title number but for some reason the DVD still won't copy, I'll give it another try when I get back from work. Last edited by aether; 11th October 2011 at 03:40. |

Have you tried, as I suggested previously, DVDFab 8.1.2.5 Qt , specifically? |
