Action Cam Wifi control for Windows ?

Hi guys,
There seem to be several Android and apple apps for viewing action cam live video (not tried any yet, but just installing Goplus CAM app for android),
anybody know of similar type app for windows, ideally with source code.
Also, is there any control standard for these type cameras, activate capture, snap image, change resolution etc.

Thanks in advance.

Here page by GoExtreme, Apps for Action Cams on android and Mac.
https://www.goxtreme-action-cams.com...r-action-cams/

List of apps at above page for android (and mostly if not all for Mac):
GoPlus Cam
GoAction
iSmart DV App
OKCam Plus App
XDV App
Ez iCam App
FH WiFi Cam App
Symagix App
Symagix2 App
GoAction H22 App
YUTUPro App

EDIT: Apparently android GoPlus CAM can be run under Windows 7/8/10 with BlueStacks android emulator for windows

Thanks Wonkey Willy,
I got a whole load-a android apps to try, and just the the one you pointed to [there are some apps for SJCam on playstore
but I think that they may be official from the SjCam manufacturer, think this one aint.

Would also kinda like a Linux option for same type app if anyone knows of [a good] one.

Again, cheers, WW.

EDIT: I was in a shop to get something else that was out-of-stock, spotted a cheap
KitVisual HD5WC [not as good as last years HD5W (still HD5W on box), and they make it hard to find the C part of the version, and
there is some confusion on the likes of Amazon about which version sellers are trading, wrong specs etc,
to depth 30m instead of older 60m, and 140 degrees instead of 170, and only AVI [EDIT: MJPEG] without MOV option].
Last years older model was apparently £100.00 whereas the lesser 2020 version cost £30.00 [Wilko] , so all in all not so bad.

Here WebRTC.Org, Real-time communication for the web.
https://webrtc.org/

Various web protocols for comms devices (eg voice and video - probably only of interest to developers).
WebRTC On Wikipedia:- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebRTC

########

Also, iSpyConnect Camera Connection Database for connection to IP cameras
(gazillions of manufacturer/model callling conventions, incl mobile phone camera as IP cam).
https://www.ispyconnect.com/sources.aspx

Posting here so I can find them again.

By the way, the only android apps that I could get to work with my KitVision Escape HD5WC was the
manufacturer linked GoPlus Cam app, and FN cam, nothing else worked [at least with default user name and password].
(FN cam is a dash cam thing)

EDIT: I've seen no mention of this anywhere on web but,
[For Kitvision Escape HD5WC action camera connected to WiFi] In Browser, address bar type 192.168.25.1
brings up an admin manager web page [labels in Chinese, I've not been brave enough to play with it].
Default Access Point IP Address (gateway or DHCP server) 192.168.25.1 [ Use comand line IPConfig /all when connected to camera via Wifi]

Perhaps of interest to some:-
Download and Install Cyberlink YouCam for HP Laptops on ANY Windows Computer:- https://www.raymond.cc/blog/install-...dows-computer/

Take note of instructions for editing Custom.ini after extract and failed install.
[then retry by executing setup.exe in the appropriate folder inside C:\SWSETUP, eg C:\SWSETUP\sp37849 for V1]

I only got the 1st 5 to extract properley, Version 6 downloaded twice gave sizes of 22MB and 48 MB, should be 282MB, so both too short
and seemed to dowload ok. So V6 dont work, at least for me, if you get v6 working/downloaded as 282MB then say so.

Here links and file sizes, make sure to follow instructions in first link.

Links on HP servers.
Code:
Cyberlink CyberLink YouCam 1: 49.5 MB
http://whp-aus2.cold.extweb.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp37501-38000/sp37849.exe

Cyberlink CyberLink YouCam 2: 51.1 MB
http://whp-aus2.cold.extweb.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp45501-46000/sp45825.exe

Cyberlink CyberLink YouCam 3: 120 MB
http://whp-hou9.cold.extweb.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp46501-47000/sp46565.exe

Cyberlink CyberLink YouCam 4: 58 MB
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp62501-63000/sp62882.exe

Cyberlink CyberLink YouCam 5: 145 MB
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp70501-71000/sp70822.exe

Cyberlink CyberLink YouCam 6: 282 MB [DONT WORK, Downloaded files of size 22MB and 48MB both too small and will not extract]
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp74501-75000/sp74820.exe
Current version of the software is V9 (I think), above only installs (for me) up to V5.

EDIT: Have not [yet] tried download of v6 on my HP desktop machine, maybe it will work proper using that.

EDIT: v1

EDIT v5, they all look different, bog standard old VGA webcam

Do you want to bring those Cam effects to AvS?
Those setups you can extract with 7zip.

Here is full v6 download: https://we.tl/t-zfEk1OOsm0

Thanx VX, I'll get it tomorrow.

Not really.

Well, I recently dumped an IBM ThinkStation (think that was the name, ThinkSomethingOrOther) and that was the machine I used for MotionDetect
of Webcam, [I dont have a doorbell, deliberately disconnected] and the old [now gone] machine was x86 and my motion detect S/W will not
work proper on x64. I used it to detect motion coming up path, so I knew when someone was at door [when expecting someone, or delivery].

I accidentally [was not pre-planned] got an action cam 2 weeks ago, connects ok via USB [plug and play] but would prefer to connect via WiFi IP, which
I aint quite got working on PC [got a working app on Android, but not on PC].
Anyway, I seem to have lost most interest in the action cam, or more correctly I got so much other stuff I'm trying to do that is more important.

Just stumbled over the Cyberlink stuff and so posted.
EDIT: Did you download on HP machine ?
In my experience HP sometimes blocks access to parts of its site when not from HP machine. I accessed support pages for my HP
machine, before I got it, and next day, could not find same support pages, tried again after purchase from new HP m/c, and then got access again.
I think I spent a long tme on the support pages initially, and maybe had my dinner when still on page, perhaps HP
did not like the duration of my stay and so blocked access from same Dell machine the following day.
[The same Dell m/c that I tried the download of Cyberlink thing]

EDIT:
OK, I managed to finally download YouCam 6, after 2 more attempts at HP ftp site, and 2 more at your link on WeTransfer, finally
got it from your link. I got as far as 235 MB at one point but then failed about 50MB short.
But, I got it now so thanks.
Also, managed to get my original x86 motion detect with alarm thing mostly working ok, although I cant get it working in full screen any more.
[ just get a blank screen ].

How to find an IP camera-s RTSP URL with Wireshark:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOVR6ks10OA
Above, find IP address/URL using Android Action Cam app, then scan android log with WireShark to extract URL for use on PC, viewing Action Cam via eg VLC.

Below so I can find it again [in devs forum],
CaptureManager SDK - Capturing, Recording and Streaming Video and Audio from Web-Cams:- https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=182733

And,

16MP, Has Fake [interpolated] 4K30FPS, but 2.7K30FPS, 1080P60FPS, 1080P30FPS, 720P90FPS, 720P60FPS, 720P30FPS.

EDIT: I think it [Rollei] can also do 720P120FPS, according to Android app. it seems to be an AllWinner v3 camera. [Android SOC]
Here a site that I'm probably gonna join at some point, for hacking action camera firmware.
https://www.goprawn.com/forum
Somebody on-site seem to be aware of Vdub2 and Avisynth. although older [circa 2016 posts on it].
I found a pretty good Android App for AllWinner v3 [cheap and popular] Action Cams [my Rollei 4s Plus] , 'SportLook', not perfect but best I've tried so far.
May only work with AllWinner v3 AC's.

I have not tried it yet, but above URL may work in browser, and you could save URL as BookMark [if it does work].
