@beter: Thank you for reminding me for the "larger only", I wanted it to make it more clearly but forgot about it in the last update.

@v0lt: Thank you for the info about the video decoder status.

I beg to increase the size of three labels for beter:
Options -> Window size
"Niet veranderen" -> the last "n" is cut off in 200% scaling
"Enkel bij grotere videobeeld" -> "videobeeld" is cut off in 200% scaling
"Herstel de oorspronkelijke vensterpositie na het sluiten van het bestand" -> "estand" is cut off in 200% scaling
Options -> Video
"Herschaal de beeld niet bij het iets vergroten v/d kader" -> the last "r" is cut off in 200% scaling
"Herschaal de beeld niet bij het iets verkleinen v/d kader" -> the last "r" is cut off in 200% scaling

I just recognized that Shader Editor Ctrl+9 is not yet updated to dark theme. Do you have already plans to equalize it to match the rest like Playlist was?

Updated german translation -> Cosmetics

"font/" support: Thank you! & additional request

Tested v1.5.4.4799 (and r4805) with MKVs where attached font files have new mime types. Unlike the current stable v1.5.3, these new builds can handle "font/ttf" "font/otf" "font/sfnt" using the Matroska splitter

I'd like to request two additional supports: font/collection (standardized type for TTC) and application/font-sfnt.

A .ttc file has one or more TTFs in it, a popular font format in China/Japan/Korea. TTC is already working fine in v1.5.3 if attached as "application/x-truetype-font" so just adding pF->FileMimeType == "font/collection" should be enough. Also, there are at least a few existing MKV files created (e.g. on Mac) before 2017 using application/font-sfnt, because that was IANA’s recommendation back then. While "application/x-font" added in r4799 is harmless and might be helpful in a rare situation, application/font-sfnt is more official and important - it was the standard mime type for TTF/OTF, and it still is an official alias of font/sfnt. Thanks again for helping out us subbers.

Thank. Updates in r4819.

Thank. Updates in r4809.
But I correctly understood that after your changes, it is no longer necessary to adjust the text sizes?
Window size, Video

Was just about to post this. Also no updates, latest build should be past 4808 anyway.

No. I will do it when necessary or when I want.

@Klaus1189
Both stores for night builds are owned by our volunteers. Aleksoid1978 and I do not post night builds there.

I thought I read somewhere that the main file store is from you and the alternative from Aleksoid1978.
Anyway, thanks for that info

Thanks! Tested 4808 and 4828.

Since r4808, MPC-BE has become the world first Media Player (at least on Windows) that fully supports font-embedded MKV by itself, when FileMimeType has a newly standardized value: font/sfnt, font/ttf, font/otf, font/collection (registered in 2017), or application/font-sfnt (registered in 2013). LAV can't handle font/collection atm. MPC-HC (official) can't handle any of them. It seems that mpv doesn't really support application/font-sfnt. Test clips are here, if anyone is interested (now MPC-BE 100% pass Test1-5 and 8; Test6/7 are only for completeness and currently irrelevant).

Thank you, and congratulations! My subber friend also said Yay!

Background:
  • Additional supports about MKV are now becoming important, because more and more encoders (though still relatively rare) are starting to use new mime types when attaching font files, resulting in a problem where styled softsubs are broken depending on what player/settings you use. [When the current release versions are used, MPC-HC (clsid2) and MPC-BE + external LAV indirectly support some of the new mime types.]

PS.
I knew the alternative URL but thought it was not updated, as the time stamp of "Beta" was 11/07/2018; should have checked the inside of the folder.

1. View-> Options-> Player-> Disable 'Open disk' menu.
2. Try the latest build (there have recently been changes affecting this).

@Klaus1189
Thank. Updated in r4838.

for naming consistency catmull rom should be bicubic 0.50 or 50 because it is just a bicubic function that got it's own name. if your catmull rom is the same as the catmull rom in madVR.

Also check you playlist - you can remove "Explorer" if exists and in root.

Simple feature request using existing functionality. Remember file position for an individual file, not just every file. A button would be nice along the task bar but a simple File-> Save position of this file or similar would be fine too.
