I tried searching but only found old forum topics from 2004 and 2005 on this subject and was wondering if anyone had any ideas for how I could work around this.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi,

I also have this problem, randomly...
Cannot identify the real cause so I usually restart my computer (or session don't remember exactly) and AGK works again fine.

I tried restarting earlier and it didn't fix it. Also, this error comes up through VirtualDub:

Avisynth open failure:
Evaluate: System exception - Access Violation
(E:\cosmos3-2\agk_tmp\_.avs, line 7)

@chefelf

Hi!

I know this probably won't help you very much but, my feeble memory keeps bubbling "layer break problem" to the surface, when I try to remember the difficulty I had making DivX3 .AVI backups of only one or two of the episodes ( Episode 6 and, possibly, Episode 7) the "Cosmos" DVD set in 2002...

What software and procedures did you use to initially decrypt the DVDs?

I just used DVD Decrypter to decrypt the DVD.

Thanks for the help!
