x264 opt. for hand drawn anime
Hi!
I'm looking for the optimal options for hand drawn anime. My problem is, that in contrast to CG-Anime, in hand drawn anime little color spots often "flicker" what lowers viewing quality. So I want to eliminate this flicker. Are there any special options that adress this issue? I've played with deblock and nr, which helped a bit, but the issue still stands there. For encoding I use mencoder. Greetings, mrsuicide! |

x264 isn't the tool for this because it has no filters. I would suggest you look at Avisynth, it has a wide range of filters, some suitable for this problem. If you aren't running Windows and really object to using wine then look at the mplayer/mencoder manual, I know it has some filters. You could also try Avidemux because I think it has more filters to offer.
